Recreation Facilities

The Manager of Recreation Services oversees all Township recreation facilities.

The Township Recreation Facilities include:

Elmvale Community Arena

The Elmvale Community Arena is located in the heart of Elmvale at 14 George Street. In 1994, a major retrofit and expansion was completed resulting in a larger 180' x 88' ice surface, 6 dressing rooms, seating capacity of 800 and an extended ice season from September to April. The Springwater Room was also constructed at that time.

The Arena is home to the Elmvale Minor Hockey Association and the Elmvale Figure Skating Club. The Booth is operated by minor hockey under a contract with the Township. The facility offers advertising space to businesses on a first come, first served basis. A large panel on the zamboni costs $300 per year. A small panel is priced at $100. Arena wall sign boards are also welcome. Prices vary depending upon size and location. For more information on Ice Rates  or  advertising, contact Recreation Services at 728-4784 ext 2055.
