Springwater Heritage Committee

The Springwater Heritage Committee is made up of one representative from Council and nine members of the public. The Committee receives and reviews applications for property designation under the Ontario Heritage Act and makes recommendations to Council. The Committee has also developed Facade Guidelines for the Elmvale Commercial District and a Township-wide Heritage Inventory.

Heritage Committee Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Township of Springwater Administration Centre. 

Agendas are available online and everyone is welcome to attend meetings!

Springwater Heritage Presents: Cast Iron Cookery

Did you attend the Cast Iron Cookery event which took place on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at historic Fort Willow? After sampling the dishes, many participants were eager to try the recipes. Ruthan and Dennis were gracious enough to provide us with the recipes prepared during the presentation.
