Elmvale Fall Fair

There are many reasons to come to the Elmvale Fall Fair.  There is something for everyone.  You can enjoy the midway or the tractor pull.  You might like to watch the competition in the cattle or horse rings.  You can browse through the award winning baked goods, crafts, needlework, school displays, preserves, field crops, photography or floral exhibits.  Then there's the livestock.  Come and enjoy the Open Poultry show, the Junior Poultry and Rabbit show, the Heavy Horse Show  and the Cattle Show.

These are just a few of the many reasons why you don't want to miss this year's Elmvale Fall Fair.

Festival at the Fort
(Formerly the Nine Mile Portage Heritage Festival)

 Saturday September 17!

The Festival at the Fort highlights life as a British soldier in 1812 in a camp setting similar to life two centuries ago. Visitors can enjoy the various re-enactors as they demonstrate their daily tasks including blacksmithing, candle making and musket ball making. There is a surgeon, magician, traveling minister, musicians and a seamstress. The Fort is brought to life with re-enactors performing various tasks and interacting with festival visitors. The Festival at the Fort is a great venue for families with interactive stations, children's entertainment and hands-on historical displays.

The Township of Springwater, Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority and Friends of Fort Willow have developed this event to celebrate the significance of historic Fort Willow and the history of Canada.
