A long-time Springwater resident and former teacher and principal, I served two terms as the Councillor representing Ward 3 before being elected Mayor this past fall.
In addition to my formal education (a B.A. in Economics from WLU and an M.Ed from U of T) I also gained experience through my participation in various Township boards and committees.
My agricultural background has served me well in dealing with the issues and concerns of Springwater residents. An active resident of Springwater, I enjoy giving back to my community, and participating in the wonderful events and ceremonies that come with being Mayor.

I have always enjoyed serving my Municipality and have 20 years experience as a Municipal Councillor, 14 with the former Village of Elmvale and six with the Township of Springwater. My passion for serving and being part of the History of Springwater continues to grow.
I was born and raised in Springwater, married for 37 years to Darlene and we have three daughters, Sarah, Lindsay, and Ashleigh. I have always been involved in the community coaching Minor Hockey, Ringette, and Minor Ball. Presently I coach the Spitfires Ladies Fastball Team. My work career spanned 35 years with the Ontario Reality Corporation where I held many management positions involving design, construction, facility operations and planning.
I am excited and looking forward to the next four years in this great Township improving on the efficiencies of operations and planning for the future.

My wife and I are both lifelong residents of Elmvale where we live with our two daughters. For several years prior to being elected, I enjoyed volunteering with several community organizations. I decided to enter municipal politics with the intent of helping our community maintain the many positive qualities associated with being a resident of Springwater. I also hoped to make a difference as we move forward with many new initiatives that will affect the future of our Township.
As we move forward, I encourage all residents of Springwater to become involved. Attend a council or planning meeting to see firsthand how your Township operates. Become involved in the many programs and activities offered in our unique communities. Focus on the importance of working together in promoting the many positive aspects of our Township has to offer. With everyone's help, the future can be exciting. We can continue to make Springwater a terrific place to live, work and raise our families. |

Ward 2 Councillor Perry Ritchie I have lived in this area my whole life, and my wife Susan and I have raised our two kids Stephen and Jamie here, in the farmhouse we bought from my Grandfather. In addition to cash cropping our farm, this year marks 22 years of working in the Real Estate industry.
My interest in politics dates back to my days in high school when I was going to run for Student Council President, but was talked out of it to allow a friend to run instead. I never lost the urge to be involved, and I thought it was time to give back to the community that has given me so much.
I am humbled to serve the people of Ward 2 and the rest of Springwater Township.

Ward 3 Councillor Rick Webster
I have lived and worked within various communities in Simcoe County for over 35 years. My wife Kim and I take great pleasure in family time with my 3 daughters, Virginia, Emily and Jaclyn, and our extended family who reside in Midhurst. Raised in Norwood, Ontario, I am a business graduate of Loyalist College in Belleville.
As the owner-operator of a local business since 1984, and a long-time Springwater ratepayer, I have comprehensive knowledge and first hand experience in the urban, rural and community issues facing Springwater Township.
Kim and I are retired and active in our community. We enjoy golf, travel, volunteering, fishing and snowshoeing, and long hikes in the county forest and trails near our home with our dog, Molly. |

I have been a resident of the Township of Springwater for 19 years and love living in this community.
I was motivated to become an elected representative because of concerns about development and the possible impact that future growth may have on our residents and the environment. I am committed to protecting the interests of the taxpayers in the Township of Springwater, while advancing the concerns of the residents of Ward 5.
This is an ambitious Council. I believe that our goal is to see the Township of Springwater become a united community where residents can live and enjoy a safe, healthy, happy, and prosperous lifestyle.
