Roads Reopened Following Emergency Road Closures due to Residential Fire

Please be advised that all roads have reopened:

Queen Street West - County Road 27/Yonge
Street to Usher Road has reopened.
Stone Street - Lawson Avenue to Lent Street
Peter Street and George Street - West of Maria Street
Amelia Street - Queen Street West to George Street

The road closures were put in place on November 11 due to a structure fire that was being managed by Fire and Emergency Services.

The following roads remain closed due to a structure fire being managed by Fire and Emergency Services. There are no injuries, and all occupants are safe. We kindly ask the public to avoid these areas with road closures:

Stone Street - Lawson Avenue to Lent Street
Peter Street and George Street - West of Maria Street
Amelia Street - Queen Street West to George Street

Road Closure - Queen Street West

Please be advised that Queen Street West will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, between Lent Street and Yonge Street, including the Elmvale Community parking lot, from 10:30 a.m. until approximately 12:00 p.m., for the Remembrance Service at the Elmvale Cenotaph.

Please refer to the mapping details, which illustrates the road closure limits that will be in place for November 11, 2025.
