COVID-19 is a respiratory virus with pneumonia-like symptoms. COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic. The Township of Springwater is taking precautions to help protect our vulnerable residents. Working with partners and agencies at all levels of government, the Township is monitoring the situation and responding accordingly.

Land Sale to County of Simcoe for Paramedic Post
Council authorized staff to proceed with the sale of 0.455 acres of land, located at 1132 Snow Valley Road, to the County of Simcoe. The land purchase was requested by the County for the construction of a new paramedic post, to be located in the southwest portion of the property, alongside the Township’s future Fire Station 2.

Members of Council and staff attended the Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) conference in Toronto last week. This conference provides an opportunity to learn, network and delegate to Provincial officials on issues of importance to Township residents and businesses.
The Township of Springwater participated in two delegations to raise awareness, share resident concerns and explore possible solutions.
