COVID-19 is a respiratory virus with pneumonia-like symptoms. COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic. The Township of Springwater is taking precautions to help protect our vulnerable residents. Working with partners and agencies at all levels of government, the Township is monitoring the situation and responding accordingly.

Following a successful pilot project, the Township of Springwater will permanently shift to a 4-day work week to foster a better work-life balance for its employees.
On September 21, Springwater Council voted unanimously to approve the municipality’s compressed work schedule option for staff on a permanent basis, as well as continue its extended public office hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The Township of Springwater is undertaking a project to construct and extend water servicing from Bayfield St./Highway 26 to the west property boundary of the Hasty Tract. The project will provide water to a new Community Hub, County Ambulance Post and Township Fire Station.
The works will include the following:
