The Festival at Fort Willow returns this year on Saturday, September 28 to take visitors back to 1812. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Fort Willow Conservation Area in Springwater Township will be filled with over 70 historical re-enactors who bring the site to life.

The Township of Springwater joins municipalities across Ontario, Canada and the world in opening the doors to cultural and heritage buildings as part of the Doors Open program. Today, volunteers with the Friends of Fort Willow (FOFW), members of the Rotary Club of Barrie, the Mayor of Springwater Township and staff at the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) came together to help prepare for the upcoming Festival at Fort Willow.
