Community Improvement Plan
The Township’s Community Improvement Plan (CIP) supports eligible businesses through municipal funding opportunities. There are eight program areas, spanning from permit fee rebates and historic property improvements to new signage and façade improvements.
Council has awarded Hillsdale Pharmacy, located at 4570 Penetanguishene Road, with $6,500 to renovate and improve the interior of the commercial space, as well as enhance signage for the building.

The Township, along with Ainley Group Consulting and Greatario Engineering Storage Systems, is currently undertaking a project to provide additional fire / emergency water storage in Anten Mills. As such, there may be periods of noise past regular working hours. The working days and hours provided are weather dependant and are subject to change.

As part of Regional Tourism Organization 7's (RTO7) COVID-19 Business Recovery Plan 2020/2021, they have announced the Operations Implementation Program (OIP). The OIP is designed to assist tourism stakeholders in Bruce Grey Simcoe with social media marketing to promote their operations.

Township of Springwater / May 1, 2020 – With warmer weather forecasted for this weekend, the Township of Springwater is reminding residents that all municipal amenities including playgrounds, parks, sports fields, outdoor fitness equipment, outdoor rinks and the Orr Lake boat launch remain closed until further notice.
Trails remain open for walking, hiking and biking; however residents are reminded to practice proper physical distancing by staying at least 2 metres or 6 feet from the nearest person.
