The Government of Canada has launched the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) to support local businesses impacted by COVID-19 that have been unable to access existing federal COVID-19 relief measures.
The RRRF provides interest-free loans to help support fixed operating costs for small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs), where revenues have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In southern Ontario, $252.4 million is available:
- $213 million for SMEs facing financial pressure; and,

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve and so does the Springwater’s response. The Township’s Community Control Group continues to meet on a regular basis via conference call and adjust the operations of the municipality as needed.
As the new case count begins to drop in the Province, we are starting to see the restrictions loosen up. At the time of writing this article, the Province has announced:
