The Township of Springwater has declared a Significant Weather Event, as of 12:50 p.m. on January 23, 2026, under Ontario’s Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways (Ontario Regulation 239/02). This declaration has been issued because current and forecasted weather conditions are affecting roads and sidewalks that are maintained by the Township of Springwater.

As a result of deteriorating weather conditions the following roads are temporarily closed in the Township of Springwater.

Current road closures impacting Flos Roads west of Hwy 27, starting from Flos Road 4 and heading north:

• Flos Road 4 West (west of St. Patrick’s Drive)
• Flos Road 5 West (via Crossland Road)
• Flos Road 6 West (between County Road 27 and Atkinson Road)
• Flos Road 7 West (between County Road 27 and Vigo Road)
• Flos Road 8 West (between County Road 27 and Vigo Road)

The Township of Springwater will begin snow removal operations in the higher density neighbourhoods of Stonemanor and Midhurst Valley the week of January 26, 2026.

Snow removal operations will commence at 10:00 p.m. and continue overnight in the Stonemanor and Midhurst Valley areas. Due to the volume of snow, these operations will take place over multiple nights.
