Springwater, ON / February 12, 2025 – In anticipation of the winter storm that is forecasted to hit our region with heavy snowfall this evening and continuing into tomorrow, the Township of Springwater has made the decision to close the Administration Centre tomorrow, Thursday, February 13, 2025. Township of Springwater / February 7, 2025 – Just before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, Springwater Fire & Emergency Services received reports of a structure fire on Penetanguishene Road.

Two stations and two additional tankers, as well as firefighters from Barrie Fire & Emergency Services responded. Upon arrival, crews observed heavy fire along the main floor. Crews completed a fast attack and managed to knock down the fire quickly.
