The capital projects taking place on Houden Street, Simcoe Street, Bertram Drive, Archer Crescent, and Nash Avenue have now finished up for the winter. Some minor deficiencies will be addressed in the spring of 2024.

Project improvements included road resurfacing, new concrete sidewalks, and curbs along Simcoe St and Houden, plus drainage improvements within the construction zone.

The Township thanks residents for their patience throughout these capital projects.

NOTICE: Public skating and adult shinny are cancelled Friday, November 24 through to Sunday, November 26, due to an annual tournament taking place at the Elmvale Community Arena.

The Study

The Township of Springwater has initiated a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) study to set the transportation vision and strategy for the Township’s mobility needs to the year 2041. The TMP will be completed in accordance with Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) process (Municipal Engineers Association, March 2023).
