      Springwater Council meetings transitioning to a hybrid format

      The Township of Springwater is transitioning its Council meetings to a hybrid format to accommodate both in-person attendees and remote meeting participants. The first hybrid Regular Council meeting will be held on November 23, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.

      On November 16, the Township of Springwater’s newly elected Council held its Inaugural meeting at the Township’s Administration Centre. Mayor Jennifer Coughlin and the Township’s five Councillors were officially sworn into office by the Honourable Jim Crawford for the 2022-2026 Council term.

      CP Holiday Train returns to the rails to bring festive cheer to Springwater

      The CP Holiday Train is returning to the rails for the first time in three years to bring holiday cheer to hundreds of communities across Canada. The train will roll into Springwater at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Highway 26 and Anne Street North.

      The CP Holiday Train features a box car stage and a line-up of great musical talent to raise money, food and awareness for local food banks. The event is free to attend, with CP encouraging attendees to open their cupboards and wallets...

      Inaugural meeting of new Springwater Council set for Nov. 16

      Members of the 2022-2026 Springwater Council will be officially sworn into office by the Honourable Jim Crawford during an Inauguration Ceremony on Wednesday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. 

      As part of the Inaugural meeting, Council-elect will take their oaths of office and Mayor-elect Coughlin will make her Inaugural address.  

      The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers at the Township Administration Centre and will be live streamed on the Township’s website at www.springwater.ca/Live....
