Shortly after 10:00 p.m. on March 30, 2019, Springwater Fire & Emergency Services responded to a reported structure fire at Splash Canyon Water Park on Nursery Road.

Midhurst Station 2 and Minesing Station 3 responded to the fire. Tankers from Hillsdale Station 4 and Elmvale Station 5 were called in to assist with water shuttle.
