Fire Recruitment

Springwater Fire & Emergency Services is not currently recruiting volunteer firefighters.  

Springwater Fire and Emergency Services serves our community when help is needed the most. Our Fire Department has four active fire stations located in Midhurst, Minesing, Hillsdale and Elmvale with over 90 volunteer firefighters.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications: 

• 18 years or older at time of application
• A valid standard CPR/first aid certificate (preferred)
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• A valid G2 Ontario driver's licence (DZ or AZ preferred)
• Must live or work in close proximity to an area served by a Springwater fire station
