The Township of Springwater has two primary assistance programs: the Community Assistance Program and the Springwater International Competition Grant. We also have a Community Improvement Plan, which offers funding to local businesses for a variety of improvements and renovations.
Community Assistance Program
The Community Assistance Program provides financial assistance to residents in need. Examples of eligible requests include:
- Helping residents participate in programs offered by the Township of Springwater
- Assisting families or individuals in immediate need following a fire, death or illness
- Supporting not-for-profit charitable organizations in Springwater

Springwater International Competition Grant
Inspired by local residents competing at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, we introduced the International Competition Grant. This funding opportunity provides financial support to young athletes in Springwater competing at an international level. The grant provides a one-time contribution of $1,000 per specific request. Grants will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

Other funding opportunities
The annual Springwater Swing Golf Tournament raises funds for needs within the community. Past events supported:
- School trips involving students who live in Springwater
- Physician recruitment efforts
- Donations to local food banks
