Springwater resuming planning public meetings

Township of Springwater / June 16, 2020 – The Township of Springwater will hold its first virtual planning public meeting on July 27, 2020. In an effort to further process Planning Act applications while being mindful of physical distancing requirements and gathering limitations due to COVID-19, the Township will be proceeding with statutory public meetings virtually using Zoom Conferencing and YouTube.

Notice of the public meetings and information on how to participate will be posted online and sent to stakeholders within the prescribed mailing region, as determined by the Planning Act and Council resolution. The agenda for each meeting is published six days prior to the public meeting and includes the application, any associated drawings or documents received and a copy of the public meeting presentation.

All comment submissions must include the name of the commenter, their address and the application name/phone number that they will be providing comments on.

Zoom:

Anyone interested in making an oral submission during the public meeting will be required to pre-register to be added to the Commenters’ List. Requests to be added to the list can be made by contacting the Planning Department by email at publicmeetings@springwater.ca or telephone at 705-728-4784 Ext. 2019. An email with additional instructions will be sent to you prior to the meeting. All requests to join the Commenter’s List must be made prior to 8:30 a.m. on the day of the public meeting.
