Residents located on St. Vincent Street and in the surrounding Midhurst area are advised the Township of Springwater is proceeding with the rehabilitation of the St. Vincent Street bridge.
Who has been awarded the construction contract?
The Township has awarded the construction contract for the rehabilitation of the St. Vincent Street bridge to McPherson-Andrews Contracting Limited (MAC).
When will the work happen?
Construction for the rehabilitation of the St. Vincent Street bridge will commence in early spring (on or about March 29, 2021) and will be completed by July 30, 2021.
How will my home be affected?
All work will take place within the existing municipal road allowance. To facilitate the bridge rehabilitation work, it will be necessary to implement a single lane detour across the bridge with traffic being managed using temporary traffic signals. Appropriate construction signage will be in place to direct traffic during construction. At no time will the bridge crossing be closed to vehicle traffic. Access to private driveways and entrances will be always maintained.
