To register for camps, fitness classes, leisure activities and more in the Township of Springwater, please follow the steps below.
Step 1. Find a program
Available fitness, recreation and public skating programs and options can be find on our Recreation Booking site. Adult and older adult fitness classes now available!
|Six Pack & Wings|
5 classes - Wednesdays - 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Through a variety of fun, low impact cardio and strength workout programs, we’ll surprise our bodies every week and never get bored! All 5 classes will feature a warm-up, cardio, strength, and cool-down/stretching exercise. Each class will explore and focus on a different format: “traditional” class (cardio, strength, balance); HIIT class (Happy Inclusive Interval Training); drumming/stability ball class; arms and abdominals class; and the last class will be a combination of our favourite “moves”.
To follow current Health and Safety rules and regulations, each participant needs to use their own equipment. Please make sure to bring a mat, hand weights, water, and a stability ball (ONLY the week we’re doing the drumming/stability ball class).
5 classes - Wednesdays - 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm.
These gentle Hatha Yoga practices will include stretching (flexibility), strength, balance and meditation for a wonderful end of the day. Yoga is for everyone and every body – options and modifications are offered.
To follow current Health and Safety rules and regulations, each participant needs to use their own equipment. Please make sure to bring a mat, water, and any “props” you like (i.e. cushions, blankets, etc.).

Participate in Barrie recreation programs
The Township has an agreement with the City of Barrie that allows Springwater residents to participate in Barrie recreation programs at the same rate as a Barrie resident. Find Barrie recreation programs and registration details on their website.
The Township of Springwater has a Rzone Policy that sets expectations for behaviour at our facilities and sports fields and in our parks and programs. The "R" in Rzone stands for respect and responsibility:
- Respect for yourself and others
- Responsibility for your actions
