The Township of Springwater charges user fees for a variety of services. Most services are covered through the collection of property taxes, however, in some cases we charge a direct user fee to those benefitting from the single use service.

In 2022, the Township retained Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. to complete a review of the Township’s user fees to determine the full cost of services provided and recommend a fee structure that would balance the Township’s cost recovery and decrease the tax burden while also considering affordability and competitiveness of the market. |
