Request to speak at a Township of Springwater Council Meeting by completing a Delegation Request form. You must submit a request form and any supporting documents at least seven days before the Council Meeting you would like to attend. Supporting documents may include handouts or presentations.
Please be advised that the information you provide on the Delegation Request Form will become part of the public record and be added to the public Council meeting agenda.
The Clerk may decide to place a delegation to a future meeting for scheduling or other relevant reasons. View our Procedure By-law for full guidelines on meetings.
What to expect
- You can present to Council and the audience for ten minutes
- You will be asked to speak at the podium using a microphone
- Groups attending should designate one person to speak
- All public meetings are livestreamed
Question period
Members of the public may also speak during question period. The question period for each public meeting is identified on the meeting agenda. Up to five people can ask a question, speaking for no more than two minutes each.
