Commercial and industrial hubs

Bertram Industrial Park, located along County Road 27, is just ten minutes north of Barrie and five minutes away from Highway 400.

This area is an emerging industrial park and ideal for a variety of manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, and office uses. The park currently features a number of industrially zoned parcels that are ready for development or redevelopment. See our information sheet and map for more information.

Hillsdale Business Park, located along Penetanguishene Road, is directly off Highway 400 in Hillsdale. Our information sheet provides more information on the available lands.

Cassell Drive Business Park, located in Hillsdale, is on the doorstep of cottage country. The area features a number of vacant parcels zoned Highway Commercial (CH) and can be conveniently accessed by the neighbouring provincial Highways 93 and 400. See our information sheet for more information.

The Snow Valley Road Industrial Area, located just north of Barrie, is within the fast growing settlement area of Midhurst. This industrial area features a number of established industrial buildings and businesses, with a handful of vacant parcels or tenant opportunities still available. These two parcels located on Penetanguishene Road feature a combined total of approximately 10.68 hectares (26.39 acres) of vacant industrial land, with frontage along Highway 11 just north of the Highway 11 and 400 split. Our information sheet provides more information on the available lands.

Elmvale is one of eight settlement areas in Springwater, located at the intersection of County Road 27 and County Road 92, just 20 minutes north of Barrie. The community features an established main street with industrial/commercial sites available throughout.

The County of Simcoe launched a Land Inventory Portal designed to help potential investors, businesses and site selectors in researching and identifying properties for potential new locations, expansion or relocation of their operations in Simcoe County.

Portal features

The portal allows you to:

  • Search by land type (commercial, industrial, farm, institutional and non-residential vacant land), size and price
  • See community profile data, including demographics, labour force and consumer expenditures
  • Identify municipal incentive information
  • Adjust map layers for additional information such as boundaries, public transit and land use planning
