Temporary Disruption at CPKC Midhurst Railway Crossing

The Township of Springwater is advising residents and commuters that the CPKC Midhurst railway crossing located on Highway 26 in Springwater has malfunctioned and will require emergency repairs.

Motorists are asked to avoid the crossing area and re-route their travel using alternate roads, as delays and traffic disruptions are expected while repairs are completed.

Drivers are reminded to obey all posted signage and any direction provided on site, and to never attempt to cross railway tracks when warning signals are active or when access is restricted for repair work.

The Township will share updates on the status of the repair as information is provided by CPKC, and we thank the public for their patience and cooperation.
