Integrity Commissioner

Township of Springwater has appointed ADR Chambers to act as its Integrity Commissioner, providing accountability services to municipal boards, committees and members of council.

Responsibilities of the Integrity Commissioner

ADR Chambers act as an independent resource. The Integrity Commissioner's role is to:

  • Keep officials aware of the requirements of the Code of Conduct
  • Respond to requests from members of Council, boards or committees for advice regarding their obligations and compliance
  • Conduct inquiries and investigations into alleged contraventions of the Code, make decisions and recommend penalties
  • Report annually to Council on the activities of the office
