The Township of Springwater's Committee of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body appointed by Council under the Planning Act to make decisions on the following planning applications:
- Consents including new lot creation (severances), boundary adjustments, and easements
- Minor variances that request minor site-specific amendments to the Zoning By-law
The Committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Township Administration Centre, as required. Find upcoming meetings in our calendar of events.

Virtual Committee of Adjustment public hearings
The Township of Springwater will hold its first virtual Committee of Adjustment public hearing on August 26, 2020. In an effort to further process consent and minor variance applications while being mindful of health and safety requirements due to COVID-19, the Township will be proceeding with statutory public hearings virtually using Zoom and YouTube.
