    Springwater Swing 

    Join us for the 17th annual Springwater Swing charity golf tournament on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Orr Lake Golf Club. This years title sponsor is Geranium. The day will include a round of golf, cart, lunch and dinner. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting our community assistance programs, physician recruitment and other worthwhile local initiatives.

    The Township of Springwater is thrilled to announce the official release of its new mobile app; designed to enhance the lives of residents and streamline access to essential services. Available now on both iOS and Android devices; the Springwater app provides a seamless experience for users seeking information, updates and convenient solutions.

    City of Barrie - Boundary Expansion Request

    In September 2023, Mayor Nuttall from the City of Barrie presented a proposal to Springwater Council regarding a proposed boundary adjustment. In this proposal, the City indicated that they currently have a very limited supply of industrial developable land with access to water and wastewater. They are seeking additional vacant and serviced employment lands beyond the City’s existing boundary, in the Townships of Springwater and Oro-Medonte.
