Transit

​Simcoe County LINX is a public transit system that links major urban hubs and local transit services in the County of Simcoe. LINX+ is available to those who are unable to use the LINX transit system due to a physical or functional disability.

Route and schedule

The LINX and LINX+ transit services connect the City of Barrie with Penetanguishene, Midland, Orillia, and Wasaga Beach with stops in Elmvale, Midhurst, Essa, Clearview and Oro-Medonte. Transit runs Monday to Friday starting at 6:00 a.m. with the last buses leaving at 6:30 p.m. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays or statutory holidays.

Visit the County of Simcoe's website for routes, schedules and service updates. Printed copies of the route map and schedule are available on the buses and at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre (1110 Highway 26 in Midhurst).

Fares

Pay your fare with exact cash or a reloadable LINX Card. When you use an electronic, reloadable LINX Card, the County of Simcoe will discount your fare (10% for adults, 15% for seniors and students).

Your fare depends on whether you're an adult, child, senior, or student and the distance you're travelling. Use the fare calculator to find the cost of your ride.
