Elmvale Business Improvement Area Board |
The Elmvale BIA is an association of businesses and property owners who work together to support growth and develop local business in the Elmvale area. The Board's goal is to increase traffic and sales through the cooperation of each and every business. The BIA is an economic driver in downtown Elmvale and a social anchor to the community. |

Springwater Sports Heritage Board |
The Springwater Sports Heritage Board acknowledges the exceptional sporting contributions and achievements of Springwater's athletes, builders and teams. A key initiative of the Board is to create a digital archive that chronicles and preserves Springwater's sports heritage, while providing unlimited access to the public. The next phase of the Board's initiative is to establish a physical, public location to display the awards and provide recognition of the outstanding sports heritage in our community. |

The Huronia West OPP Detachment Board services the Township of Springwater, Township of Clearview and Town of Wasaga Beach. Board Composition The Huronia West OPP Detachment Board is comprised of eleven (11) members as follows:

Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee |
The Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee is committed to the preservation of historical, cultural and natural heritage within the Township. The Committee advises Council on all matters regulated through legislation, and provides public awareness and promotes heritage conservation, celebrate and leverage the Township's unique cultural resources to build a shared identity and future prosperity in Springwater. This includes the heritage designation of properties, maintaining the Heritage Register and Inventory, and reviewing planning matters that relate to heritage. The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee helps member municipalities of the County of Simcoe in providing recommendations in the removal of all levels of barriers in relation to standards set out in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Joint Compliance Audit Committee |
The Joint Compliance Audit Committee in an investigative/adjudicative body created to enforce provincial laws related to municipal election campaign funding. Property Standards Committee |
The Property Standards Committee shall have all statutory duties as defined under Sections 15.1 to 15.8 of the Building Code Act, as amended, including to consider appeals to Property Standards Orders issued by Property Standards Officers. The Recording Clerk (Secretary) to the Property Standards Committee is responsible for accepting all applications for processing upon submission by the appellant. The Recording Clerk (Secretary) shall be the Clerk of the Township of Springwater, or a person designated by the Clerk. It is the responsibility of the Property Standards Committee to hear and determine all appeals in accordance with the procedures established under the provisions of the Statutory Powers Procedure Act. The Committee shall consider and apply the Township of Springwater’s Property Standards By-law.

Outdoor Digital Signage Hearing Committee |
This hearing committee reviews digital sign requests for the Elmvale Outdoor Digital Sign that do not fall within the Outdoor Digital Signage Policy and determines if the requests are to be approved or denied. Decisions of the Committee are final. There is no appeal mechanism for requests that are denied. Requestors will be permitted to speak to their request at the hearing.
