Change is coming to restore consistency of curbside waste collection in the County of Simcoe

The following media release has been issued by the County of Simcoe.
Midhurst/December 11, 2019 – The County of Simcoe is changing curbside waste collections to bring consistency and predictability back to pick-up schedules and support the growth of the County’s green bin program. Starting February 3, 2020, garbage and recycling collection will occur on alternating weeks, while green bin collection will continue every week.

With Sadness and Respect
We are all saddened and “feeling empty” about the passing of both Scott Jermey and Scott Macpherson.
Scott Jermey was Deputy Mayor of Oro-Medonte, County Councillor on Simcoe County, a hard-working farmer who was very active in his community. Much liked and respected, Scott always was well-informed and eloquent presenting his thoughts and opinions. He also had a keen sense of humour.
