COVID-19 is a respiratory virus with pneumonia-like symptoms. COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic. The Township of Springwater is taking precautions to help protect our vulnerable residents. Working with partners and agencies at all levels of government, the Township is monitoring the situation and responding accordingly.

The Township of Springwater and the Severn Sound Environmental Association are working together to provide residents in the Severn Sound watershed (Orr Lake/Elmvale area) with reasonably priced, native tree and shrub seedlings for planting in early spring 2021.
Tree seedlings must be pre-ordered. The deadline for ordering is Friday, January 15th, 2021.

This last Monday, 8 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Springwater - we are not immune to COVID-19. Springwater now has 34 confirmed cases of which 21 have recovered, one death has occurred, and 12 cases are under investigation.
