COVID-19 is a respiratory virus with pneumonia-like symptoms. COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic. The Township of Springwater is taking precautions to help protect our vulnerable residents. Working with partners and agencies at all levels of government, the Township is monitoring the situation and responding accordingly.

Springwater Fire & Emergency Services has taken delivery of its new pumper/tanker fire truck.
The truck was purchased through Commercial Emergency Equipment Co. in Woodstock, Ontario and built by Maxi-Metal Inc. in Saint-Georges, Quebec. The 2021 Pierce Saber Custom Cab seats six firefighters and is equipped with a Waterous fire pump rated for 6,000 litres per minute. The truck also has a 6,750 litre water tank, as well as an on-board foam system.

Public Meeting – 1335 Flos Road Four West
A Public Meeting was held regarding a Temporary Use By-law application by Smith Brothers Farm Inc. for the lands at 1335 Flos Road Four West. The proposed By-law would permit an indoor baseball training facility on the subject property for a period of 18 months, within two of the existing buildings.
