Temporary Closure at Midhurst Railway Crossing for Regular Maintenance

Please be advised that Midhurst Railway Crossing will be temporarily closed for regular maintenance work being completed by ETS Infrastructure Management beginning Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. and is expected to reopen by Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

The closure will be in effect on Highway 26 between Bayfield Street and Wilson Drive. The hard closure point will be at the railroad tracks near Anne Street.

Motorists are asked to avoid the crossing area and re-route their travel using alternate roads, as delays and traffic disruptions are expected while repairs are completed.

Drivers are reminded to obey all posted signage and any direction provided on site, and to never attempt to cross railway tracks when warning signals are active or when access is restricted for repair work.
