Temporary Closure of Old Second Road South for Railway Crossing Maintenance

Please be advised that Old Second Road South will be temporarily closed for regular maintenance work on the railway tracks, being completed by ETS Infrastructure Management. The work is to begin on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. and is expected to reopen by Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

The closure will be in effect on Old Second Road South between Story Road and Horseshoe Valley Road West. The hard closure point will be at the railway tracks.

Motorists are asked to avoid the crossing area and re-route their travel using alternate roads, as delays and traffic disruptions are expected while repairs are completed.

Drivers are reminded to obey all posted signage and any direction provided on site, and to never attempt to cross railway tracks when warning signals are active or when access is restricted for repair work.
