Township of Springwater Seasonal Load Restrictions to be Lifted April 28, 2026

Effective Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the seasonal load restrictions in place throughout the Township of Springwater have been lifted.

The Township of Springwater follows seasonal load restrictions as per Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act and By-law 2024-033, restricting loads on most Township roads to 5 tonnes per axle.

The imposed weight restriction helps protect the structural integrity of Township roads during spring thaw, when road damage is most likely to occur.
