Where Community Comes Together: New Date for Township of Springwater Town Hall Meeting

Due to the Township of Springwater's dedicated response to the recent ice storm, the Springwater Town Hall meeting, previously scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2025, is now scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Township Administration Centre, located at 2231 Nursery Road.

The Town Hall meeting will be an informal drop-in session, providing community members with the opportunity to interact with members of Council and senior staff. Attendees will have the chance to learn about ongoing initiatives and upcoming projects, as well as to ask questions or offer feedback.

Discover the latest innovative initiatives happening in the Township. Stay informed with updates on significant housing developments throughout Springwater. Get insights into the progress of the new Fire Station, Short Term Rental Licensing, and advancements in the Township’s Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping plans.

This is a family-friendly event; recreation staff will provide engaging activities for children and Springwater Fire & Emergency Services will be on hand to provide fire safety education.

Additionally, the Building Services Department will remain open to help with the building permit process, including assistance with setting up an online portal account, document submission and Ontario Building Code Compliance. Should all documentation be in order, they will attempt to issue same day permits for decks, gazebos, porches, pools, hot tubs and small accessory buildings. Any permit(s) that are not issued that day will be prioritized the following week.
