Noise Exemption Request – Carson Road Developments Inc.
Council approved a Noise By-law exemption that Carson Road Developments Inc. requested in order to install a sanitary effluent main and conduct minor tree clearing along Hwy 26 and Wilson Drive. The exemption will allow some of the works along Hwy 26 to be completed overnight, in compliance with construction time limitations imposed on the developer by the Ministry of Transportation. Construction is scheduled to conclude in June 2022.

Notice of increased truck traffic on Snow Valley Road

Please be advised that there will be increased truck traffic on Snow Valley Road due to the removal of topsoil by the developers of the Micks Subdivision (Phase 1A of the Midhurst Carson Road Development).
Weather permitting, the work is expected to take 1.5 months to complete. Operations are scheduled to occur until seasonal load restrictions come into effect on March 1, 2022 and will recommence for a period of one month after the restrictions are lifted on April 30, 2022. The average number of...

Redline Revisions – D. Hickling Plan of Subdivision
Council has endorsed proposed redline revisions to update the D. Hickling draft plan of subdivision and associated conditions of approval. The proposed revisions would provide for a variety of residential lot types and a higher overall residential unit yield. Before the proposed revisions may be implemented, an approved Zoning By-law Amendment and Ontario Land Tribunal approval are required.
